Our one goal is to bring your wedding dreams to life. No two weddings are the same. That’s why we take the time to listen to your vision and help you express the individuality of your special day. Our wedding season stretches from October to end of April.
It’s your special day and understandably you might not want to share it (except with your guests of course). You can book out the entirety of our hotel from 12pm on your wedding day to 11am the following morning. Receive the undivided attention of our team and a private party above the waves like no other. You’ll also have a complimentary honeymoon suite for the night and our rooms will be offered at a special reduced rate. Cornish food through & through
Real food is made with heart, from seasonal local ingredients. Provenance is paramount to us. Our head chef Glen Merriot, and his team, source proper Cornish produce. Fresh seafood off the boat, quality meats, and the richest dairy produce in the country.
Glen learnt the ropes from Michelin Starred trained chefs and has battled his way to the top over the last decade. Whole hearty food, created with knowledge, passion & he takes great pride in his extensive cook book collection, taking inspiration from professional chefs which can be seen on the plate!

Hello, I'm Kyra & welcome to Talland Bay Hotel! I will be here for you & your partner from the very beginning all the way through the organisation & of course I shall be hosting the event on the special day. To begin with, congratulations! I hope we can offer anything & everything you ever wished for. We will need to meet a few times to get the major outline of the event decided & organised, then a few details i.e. rooming list, menu choices, drinks & any special requests. And then finally to cross the T's & dot the I's. We try to make wedding planning individual, detailed, relaxed & straight forward.
