Broomhill Estate is home to a newly refurbished luxury Hotel, award winning restaurant, sculpture park and a beautiful wedding venue.

The Broomhill Estate lies in a glorious, undulating valley in North Devon, surrounded by hundreds of acres of woodland and bound by its own stream. We are only 10 minutes from the coast and all the beutiful beaches North Devon has to offer.

Ideal for elopements, micro weddings and larger celebrations, you can have exclusive use of this fabulous venue as you celebrate saying ‘I do’ to that special someone.

The main house underwent large refurbishments in early 2021 and is now open. It is home to our 7-room boutique hotel, 60-seater restaurant/event space, large garden room, The stables block, and multiple lounges and bar areas.

Our main restaurant features beautiful original artwork and sculptures along with an open kitchen which makes it a truly unique space. It can comfortably seat 60 guests for a sit-down meal or up to 100 for a more casual buffet and up to 200 for the party! The room is also used for concerts, parties, and markets. The space can be configured and used however the guests like!

We have smaller spaces available for ceremonies and more intimate events.

Our garden room is a beautiful airy, bright, dual aspect room which can be used for wedding ceremonies and receptions. It can seat up to 30 guests and up to 50 for a reception.

The stables building was an old stable block for the estate but has now been transformed into an events space. This space is separate from our main building so is ideal for a quieter more private weddings. This room has full length windows which creates a bright and romantic atmosphere. The stables is the preferred room of many couples for the wedding ceremony.

All our lounge and bar areas can also be utilised however the guest desires.

We have a fully stocked bar which specialises in English wines, local spirits, beers and ciders. We also have a portable bar which can be moved around the estate so guests will always have acess to a bar!

Broomhill is also home to a sculpture park which has over 200 sculptures. There are many peaceful and beautiful spaces around the gardens such as next to the river under the tree canopy or in the bamboo forest. We can set up marquees, campfires, BBQs, food trucks or afternoon tea parties anywhere in the gardens which can make your event unique and special.

Broomhill has its own team of chefs who are on hand to create any cuisine or menu you can imagine! We do have sample menus available from buffets and afternoon teas right up to 7 course tasting menus! Every wedding couple is invited to sample dishes in our restaurant to help choose the perfect menu for their big day.

The newly refurbished boutique art hotel is now open. Each of our rooms is inspired by arthouse and cult films including Velvet Goldmine, Lost in Translation, Moonrise Kingdom, Betty Blue, Amelie, Clockwork Orange & Grey Gardens.

The rooms all have super king Roche Bobois beds and luxurious Divine Savages wallpaper. Each room has its own personality and elegance allowing you to relax in an intimate and discrete environment.

Broomhill offers lots of options and packages for couples such as daytime weddings with afternoon tea or 3 day exclusive hire which includes all 7 hotel rooms for 2 nights, a choice of location for the ceromony and reception, an expert event planner, and exclusive use of the whole estate for the day of the wedding.
