Established in 2018, York Barn is nestled in the countryside of York and located only 4 miles from York City Centre.

We pride ourselves on providing a wedding venue for couples to “enjoy your special day with everything in one place.” Our on-site accommodation is able to sleep up to 113 guests over 13 cottage and York Barn offers the warmest of welcomes by blending the rustic, homestead décor along with a modern twist and of course the benefit of being able to tie the knot under our venue’s approved licence for civil marriage and civil partnership.

With it's modern restoration, elegant floor to ceiling windows and scenic views over looking our landscaped gardens, York Barn provides a perfect space for your wedding ceremony and reception. We pride ourselves on our state-of-the-art facilities within York Barn including; fairy lights, festoons, cartwheel chandeliers, LED strip downlights, brickwork feature lighting, luxury bathrooms, underfloor heating, private terrace with glass canopy, outdoor bar and ample free onsite car parking. We also include all of our furniture in the wedding package.

Once again a huge thank you to all of you at Villa Farm you made our day everything that we wanted it to be. What you have done with the barn makes it a perfect setting and all our guests loved the venue, we had so many compliments. Everything ran smoothly, we couldn't have asked for more, nothing was too much trouble and all the little extras really made the difference.

The experience of Corrina and the team meant that we didn’t have to worry about a thing.

The most incredible stress free day!

Expecting be a stressed out bride, I was far from it on the day. That was down to Nicole and Corrina's amazing wedding planning and organising on the day. They ensured everything ran smoothly and went to plan an I was so grateful.

We fell in love with the beautiful venue the minute we walked in, and knew that it was the right place for us to get married.

The whole team at Villa farm have excellent communication skills which made the whole process easier ( including the 2 occasions we had to change our date!) , even helping us to contact all the other suppliers to help us rearrange.

The team made sure that I had all basis covered, reminding me about things I hadn't thought about.

The cottages on site are perfect for the bridal party and family and friends, very convenient after a long day and too many Proseccos!
The who venue has beautiful photo opportunities both inside and out. The fact that our 4 legged family member Jaffa could also join us for the day was a huge bonus

We couldn't of been happier with how our day went, and that really was all down to the amazing team at Villa Farm.. So thank-you!

The most perfect venue for country rustic!

Corrina, Nicole and the rest of the team helped give us our dream wedding! From start to finish the team have been on hand to answer all our questions, and plenty of visits to the venue to go over all the tiny details. The day was just perfect and the team made sure everything went without a hitch! So much so that we didn't even really notice what was going on it just went so smoothly. It was everything we wanted and the venue was just perfect for the chilled out wedding we wanted.

Even with all the uncertainty over the last 18 months, nothing was too much trouble and they were so flexible with our needs. Thankfully we managed to have our day with no restrictions.
We had so many compliments from our guests about how pretty the venue was and how helpful the team were. Could not recommend enough if you're looking for a venue in Yorkshire and/or a country rustic venue.

Wonderful experience

Can’t thank the Villa Farm team enough for facilitating our special day. Super organised and open to our suggestions, nothing was ever too much trouble. Would highly recommend this place. The on site cottages were also wonderfully equipped and created the perfect setting for getting ready on the morning of the wedding.

Perfect in every way!

Villa Farm was our perfect venue, it was everything we'd hoped for and more! It had so many options from indoor to outdoor ceremonies, multiple photograph locations on site plus being really close to potential other backdrops. It has the most gorgeous cottages surrounding it which meant we could be with our loved ones the night before right through to the day after which made the whole process so easy and relaxing not only us but for our guests too.

What really made it for us was the staff. From the moment we emailed them to 6 months after our wedding, they have been nothing but lovely and SO helpful. They guided us through the whole process and made our day run so smoothly so no one on our wedding day had to lift a finger, we cannot thank them enough and we literally could not have done it without them!
