The Parlour at Blagdon is a unique and idyllic wedding venue available with exclusive use for the entire day; this secluded oasis is located on the Blagdon Estate in Northumberland but only 10 minute’s drive north of Newcastle.

Tie the knot in our stunning converted smithy and then enjoy relaxing in our landscaped gardens and beautiful Willow room.

Our highly professional events team have a wealth of knowledge and expert hands-on experience which will help you plan and organise your perfect Wedding day.

A rustic, romantic setting with superb food, the highest levels of service, crisp white linen, a charming, shabby-chic appeal and intimate surroundings make this countrified location the perfect venue.

THE perfect venue to suit us! The staff are amazing, great communication, managed to organise our viewings and visits within COVID 19 times (where allowed).. nothing seems to be too much trouble! Can't recommend enough- can't wait for our big day here!!

Just beautiful!
Couldn't review them highly enough! We fell in love with our venue from the moment we stepped in. The service was second to none. Whenever we needed to visit they've always been so quick and accommodating. Throughout such an uncertain time also at present they've been nothing but generous, their communication is perfect. They've really put us at ease and our minds at rest. We cannot wait for our day next year!

The Parlour are amazing!
We booked our wedding two years in advance (before COVID) and the wedding staff were amazing beforehand, allowing us to plan a wedding up north whilst living in London and very quick to answer any questions or anything we needed! They have also been outstanding at communication throughout the pandemic and have been on hand to answer any concerns we had (even though they were probably at home too!) I can’t praise them enough and very excited to have our wedding day there.

We got married here on Sat 14th September and had the most amazing day! Can’t thank the staff enough for all their help during the preparation and during the big day it’s self! My husband and I got married here on Friday 21st June, I literally can not recommend the venue highly enough. The grounds and facilities are amazing and the staff were fantastic, Molly, in particular, was outstanding and looked after us and all our guests to ensure that we had the best day. The food was excellent and many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed both the wedding breakfast and the evening buffet. If you are planning your wedding, get along to the Parlour - you will not be disappointed!

The entire staff here cannot do enough for you, they are a credit to the Parlour and part of what makes it so special. Molly and Stuart we there on the day and everything ran like clockwork thanks to them! The food, the drinks and decor are just perfect and the overall cost for a wedding here is unbelievable! Meet the Wedding Coordinator

At the Parlour at Blagdon we have a large team to be able to help you with every aspect of your special day. Nigel the owner & Martin our General Manager have experience in running between them over 1000 weddings. Our Team includes Weddings and Events Manager Molly who has worked at The Parlour in her role for over 4 years now and is assisted by Toyah who is our wedding and events assistant manager. Throughout your show rounds and meetings you may also meet our General manager Steve, all who run and assist in the running of all the weddings that we have ensuring every aspect is covered for you. Between our vast team we have ran over 100 weddings last year growing year on year.
