Beverley Racecourse is the setting for East Yorkshire’s season of summer horse racing, which runs from April – September and includes the much loved Ladies’ Day, as well as 18 other special days of flat racing The Racecourse has a long history; since 1690 people have been gathering on the site to go horse racing, midnight steeplechasing, attend parties, balls and weddings, and play sport. We even served as an airfield during the war!
