When contacting a wedding DJ for the first time rather than asking "How much?" straight away ask something personal like "What music are you into?" That way you can find the perfect DJ for your party.

Choose music that really means something to YOU - that way you make memories that last a lifetime.

Make a list of songs you want and don't want. Listen to tracks before adding them. Ask friends and family for 1 song they would dance to on your Special Night. Give list to DJ at least 2 weeks prior.

We are happy to play a song of your choice for your first dance as well as feature your favourite songs for the disco sets. Make sure that your band uses the highest quality sound and lighting.

Discuss your first dance well in advance.

When hiring a photo booth, give yourself the opportunity to get creative! Design a quirky backdrop - You can create your backdrop to fit in with your wedding theme.

Music is important to your day. Often people overlook the music but this is the soundtrack to your big day. Tennyson Collective can help you get this right and we can even perform your favourite song.

Don't take cheapest quote. Quality costs a little more. A Wedding Disco is extremely different from a standard party disco. Expertise has a value. ( Look for WDJA accreditation. Wedding DJ Alliance)

Check if your wedding venue cater for families and provide facilities such as changing mats, can warm bottles and baby food. A mobile crèche can provide all essential child friendly facilities!

If you would like fireworks at your wedding always ensure you check with your venue first that you are allowed to have them.

Ensure that the DJ has adequate insurance and electrical safety certificates along with a booking agreement form.

Nothing is as special as having fireworks set to a music track which means something to the two of you. Ask about our musically choreographed shows.

Ask the experts! You are probably booking Wedding entertainment for the first time. Experienced Industry people will see 100's of weddings a year and can answer your questions or advise on Pit falls.

Remember this is your day, not the DJ's so request any music that is special to you.

When starting to plan your wedding, start off by thinking about the top 3 things that absolutely must go right on the day, e.g. must be roses... Then the smaller decisions should feel less stressful

There is always someone cheaper! All acts have different fees based on their experience, ability and popularity. If they charge more than the rest there is usually a good reason.

For nervous dancers have your guests make a circle around the outside of the dancefloor and then invite them to join you part way through. This also makes for great photos with a full dancefloor.

Relax and enjoy your day! Try not to get overwhelmed by everything and, when / if required, have a glass of wine ;) !

Pay suppliers beforehand. so there is no stress on the day

Don't be fooled by CHEAP prices, Look for a competitive quote (Mid Range) Cheap prices usually mean Cheap products.
