look at each other and ignore the official, even when they talk to you. Stare into your significant others eyes and enjoy the one moment of the day that really means something.

Be yourselves, enjoy your day and remember to take five minutes every hour to stop and look around!

You will be expected to mingle - and will enjoy the good wishes surrounding you. Take time to pay attention also to each other as this is a new chapter beginning to unfold. Capture the love TODAY.

On the subject of speeches. Always leave a lot more time in your schedule for the speeches than you think. It is very rare that I attend a wedding where speeches don't last longer than anticipated.

Don't just go straight to Google if you're writing a speech. Just be yourself. You don't have to be funny or sentimental or smart. Just say what you want to say.

Once the vows are done, remember that building on your happiness today is a life-long journey. With a little effort on both your parts, as the saying goes, things will only get better :)

Delegate responsibility to someone else on your wedding day. You're there to enjoy the day. Make sure everyone knows that if there are any issues on the day they need to speak to that person.

Always ask to see more than just the samples offered before you book. If somebodies price seems too good to be true, it just might be!

Post wedding day, be enraptured in your love! This is the first day of your new lives together as one. Surprise your spouse with a secret gift, gesture or token from your first date.

Buy some sparkly trainers (converse do a great pair) for the bride and bridesmaids. If you dance then so will everyone else. It will be a relief to change from heels.

The run-up to the day brings many joys and many panics-all part of the fun. From the eve of the wedding, make sure you start to relish and enjoy the whole experience, and carry that on thru to the day

Speak to your service providers the week before the wedding, you may have made changes and have forgot to inform others, it's also a good opportunity to chat and keep familiar.

On your wedding day try to let go of any organisational issues and trust the professionals around you.

It is your day, make sure you do it the way you want to!

During the ceremony, a lot of couples face each other but turn their heads to whoever is officiating the ceremony. They end up looking at the vicar/registrar rather than their significant other.

I often get asked, do we need a wedding video? No, course you don't. But one of our favourite sayings is "A photograph captures a moment, a film captures the day". People always regret not getting one

Enjoy the experience! Once the day arrives, relax and let go! Perfectionism stands in the way of enjoyment.

Ask to see Insurance details, if using a drone ask for pilots license as well, your venue will and if not licenced will not allow it to fly so don't spoil your special day at the last minute.

Meet the professionals at the venue before the wedding, even if they charge, as this will test plans, bounce ideas and you'll be familiar with your pro's on the day.

Don't settle for normal
