It was an absolute delight working with Simon. He's so chilled out and helped make my husband and I feel so comfortable and at ease. Looking at some of the images Simon captured, we keep remarking 'I didn't even notice him stood there!' or 'How did he get that shot without us realising?' - this is exactly what we were looking for, and we found it with Simon. My husband and I are not keen on being in the limelight at all, but Simon kept everything low key and relaxed - he perfectly captured the essence of our day, our guests and us as a couple. Simon effortlessly got it all, and even during the brief 'staged' photos period (group shots and pictures of us together), we felt totally relaxed and comfortable. We’re both in awe of our wedding photographs. Whenever we take a look and show our friends and family, we are all taken back to the day. You can feel the energy, nervousness and excitement all through the photos. I’ve never been someone who likes to stand in front of a camera and pose for photos. So Simons style of journalistic photography worked perfectly for us. he blended into day and captured moments to cherish.

Choosing Simon as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made. We were drawn to his documentary style as neither of us are particular fans of posing for photos! On the day Simon really took his time to understand the venue and where he would look for us to have photos throughout the day. We have no idea how he did it, but he managed to be in all the right places at the right time and (in the best way possible) we didn't notice at all!

Simon captured our day to perfection and we were left with more than just photos. We were left with the moments, movements and emotions from the day that were wrapped up in the most gorgeous photos - photos which tell story after story at every turn. We hired Simon on the basis of his portfolio of natural, non-staged photos that seemed to capture genuine moments of emotion throughout the day. He delivered just this! Simon is quiet, unobtrusive and somehow managed to be everywhere at once. He is not one for loudly staging large groups of people together, but rather discretely capturing the special moments of your day perfectly. If there are particular sets of photos you want, Simon will ensure these are covered. This aside, you can certainly put your trust in him to do what he does best - take highly personal, beautiful photos. Excellent service from beginning (including meeting for a walk around the venue) to the end (sending us a small set of complementary prints and chocolates). Highly recommended, thank you again Simon!
