It was an absolute delight working with Simon. He's so chilled out and helped make my husband and I feel so comfortable and at ease. Looking at some of the images Simon captured, we keep remarking 'I didn't even notice him stood there!' or 'How did he get that shot without us realising?' - this is exactly what we were looking for, and we found it with Simon. My husband and I are not keen on being in the limelight at all, but Simon kept everything low key and relaxed - he perfectly captured the essence of our day, our guests and us as a couple. Simon effortlessly got it all, and even during the brief 'staged' photos period (group shots and pictures of us together), we felt totally relaxed and comfortable. We’re both in awe of our wedding photographs. Whenever we take a look and show our friends and family, we are all taken back to the day. You can feel the energy, nervousness and excitement all through the photos. I’ve never been someone who likes to stand in front of a camera and pose for photos. So Simons style of journalistic photography worked perfectly for us. he blended into day and captured moments to cherish.

Choosing Simon as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made. We were drawn to his documentary style as neither of us are particular fans of posing for photos! On the day Simon really took his time to understand the venue and where he would look for us to have photos throughout the day. We have no idea how he did it, but he managed to be in all the right places at the right time and (in the best way possible) we didn't notice at all!

We used Simon as our photographer both for our wedding ceremony during Covid lockdowns and 18 months later for a reception to celebrate. He even rushed to our ceremony at short notice when we were forced to rearrange due to a lockdown being announced! We chose Simon as we wanted someone who would not be intrusive or take forced/posed photos and this is exactly his approach. The end result was beautiful and we will treasure our photos forever. Simon is a master in capturing the atmosphere and emotions of the day in pictures and looking at our photos always brings back many happy memories.
