Welcome to Wyresdale's Wedding Barns, your stunning home for the weekend and a place to bring your celebration to life. We have renovated these unique buildings to create a flexible, spacious venue.
Wyresdale Park offers a collection of beautiful rustic barns, country house, boating lake and glamping, all on the western slopes of the Forest of Bowland. Wyresdale Park is a family run estate in the heart of the Nicky Nook. The estate is a big hearted hidden gem - "a land that time forgot" - where your will discover mature gardens, a beautiful boating lake, majestic views over Lancashire and lots of secret places for you and your guests to explore. Our Heritage Barns were built to the highest standards a hundred and fifty years ago and follow a unique architectural design that perfectly fits a unique wedding celebration. The Barns have been renovated and presented as a blank canvas for your bespoke wedding. We are the opposite of a hotel wedding package, we are your home for the week where every aspect is yours to choose.
The Barns....
The stunning White Barn is where you will have your dinner and dancing, with the high ceilings, balcony and original beams and old stables, a hugely characterful building that feels intimate with seventy or atmospheric with a hundred and seventy. Light the wood burner and dance the night away. The Ceremony Barn is one of three areas to exchange vows. This warm and peaceful space can be used in the evening to sit, relax and watch the celebrations in full swing.
Finally, 'The Fell Inn" (not in conjunction with our lake) is our small, picturesque tavern which connects all three barns and is the perfect place for welcome fizz or after-hours ales.
North Wing Bridal Accommodation…
Nestled within a Grade II listed property, the North Wing's bridal party accommodation is a self-catering, three-bedroom wing of Wyresdale Park. The house is filled with original furniture from the 1850s but decorated for a contemporary and fresh feel.
A well-equipped kitchen & diner provides a spacious area for drinks and seating for ten. At 10m x 5m, this large open plan space makes a handsome entertainment area. After dinner, sneak through to the oak paneled drawing room and sit by the fire with a glass of something fizzy or cocktail.
Glamping…
The estate has two very beautiful glamping sites to choose from. The Orchard is adjacent to the venue, can sleep 20 to 25 people in ten bell tents. All Bell Tents are on raised timber decks set within an old orchard. Perfect for a pre-wedding BBQ.
Feather down lodges is another option, 5 safari tents with log burners and outdoor hot tubs that sit on the edge of the lake.
The South Lawn…
Hidden away behind the café gardens is the beautiful south lawn. The perfect outdoor space to host your drink reception. Let us serve the fizz, fill the lawn with games and have your photos taken with Wyresdale Hall in the background.
