Top Wedding Tips

Choose a photographer who you get on with! Feeling comfortable with them will result in relaxed and natural images. Remember, your photographer is the supplier who you will spend the most time with!

If there are specific people, items or events that you want capturing or there are must-have-shots, let your photographer know so they can be prepared. Let them know what is most important to you.

Make sure your photographer has professional equipment, including back-up gear, the appropriate insurance and contingency plans for bad weather or unforeseen circumstances.

Hi, I'm Louise. I'm 38 and I'm from Bradford. I enjoy live music, films and hanging out with my hubby and cats. And photography... obviously! I became interested in photography a number of years ago and it has been my passion (or obsession!) since then. I love shooting with digital and film cameras and I have completed courses in both digital photography and traditional darkroom techniques in order to improve my skills. My professional development continues through regular attendance at workshops and industry conferences and I usually have a personal project ongoing too, to push myself to learn new skills and techniques. When shooting weddings and events, my photographic style is relaxed and natural. Although I do shoot some 'posed' portraits (if required), I mainly capture candid moments, so you and your guests are free to enjoy your wedding or event without too much intrusion and your final images are a true reflection of your day. When it comes to portrait shoots, I do give some direction in order to ensure that you look your best, but I aim to capture natural interactions and emotions. Following a shoot, I edit all your images to ensure that they are perfect, although I do not heavily 'Photoshop' pictures. My aim is provide an accurate representation of a moment in time, to ensure that your memories last a lifetime. Whilst my professional work is mainly produced using digital cameras, the use of instant/film cameras can be integrated into your wedding day/shoot if you are looking for something a little different.
