Amy & Tim's Wedding Story
In early September, I joined Amy & Tim for their wedding at The Gamekeepers Inn, a lovely pub and wedding venue within Long Ashes Park, near Grassington in the Yorkshire Dales. Amy's bridal preparations began in one of the lodges, along with her six bridesmaids, two flower girls, one page girl, two page boys and mum. Ha ha, it was CHAOS!!!!
Despite the number of people to get ready, amazingly, everyone was on time and there were no major stresses. The girls even had time for a glass of bubbly (or two) before getting dressed, whilst the guys waited nervously in the Netherside Suite. Amy's beautiful wedding gown was from Ava Rose Hamilton, Tim and the groomsmen's suits from The Bridgewater, flowers by Mrs Bouquets, make-up by Dolly Paint and Amy's hair was done by The Lounge.
The ceremony was lovely; Amy was escorted down the isle by her father, the readings were very moving and there was lots of laughter. After the ceremony and drinks reception, we did some family photographs on the lawn, whilst Amy & Tim's son Teddy ran in circles around us (literally). We then took some time to create some lovely couple portraits, utilising the amazing countryside surrounding the venue and making the most of Amy's huge veil!
It was then onto the brilliant speeches by Amy's dad, Tim and the two best men Grant & Danny. After the meal, there was plenty of time to relax, before moving onto the evening party, where music was provided by Liquid Brick.
