Lizzy & Sarah's Wedding Story
I first met Lizzy and Sarah at a wedding fair at Stand Edge Tunnel in Huddersfield in 2016 (was it really that long ago?!). We then met again in the summer of this year for their engagement shoot at the beautiful Beaumont Park. It's seemed like a long time coming, but finally their wedding day arrived on a cold, but bright day last month. I joined them at The Huntsman Inn in Holmfirth, near Huddersfield, where they were both getting ready for the big show...
Sarah, having been the one to propose, walked down the aisle first to the soothing sounds of a live cellist. Lizzy followed to meet her and they had a lovely ceremony, with two touching and funny readings and some impromptu 'air cello' from the young ring-bearer! We then braved the cold for some group photos. Lizzy & Sarah didn't want many formal photos, so this left plenty of time for them to chat to their guests and relax in the cozy bar area.
For their evening entertainment they had a fabulous singer, Leo Kenny, who got the dance floor going, then the happy brides cut their cake and took to the floor for their first dance.
