Casey & Adam's Wedding Story
We met in January 2010 and clicked straight away. We shared a love of Football (although not the same team), traveling and having a beer or two. It was clear that we were supposed to be together. We got engaged in December 2013 in Paris – Although didn’t start planning our wedding until 2017 as we were saving to buy our first home together.
When it came to looking at wedding venues, it was always going to be tricky – Adam is a massive Notts County FC supporter, so automatically suggested we have our reception there. As I am Nottingham Forest FC supporter this was never going to happen! Therefore, we started thinking of other venues and then it came to us! Trent Bridge. We had been to a wedding there before and it was brilliant. It made sense, we both had an interest in cricket and more importantly, it was a mutual venue.
We went to look around Trent Bridge in February 2017, we were taken in to the Derek Randall suite and knew instantly that this was the place we were going to have our wedding breakfast and reception. The view of the ground from the room was amazing; we booked our wedding there and then!
We had 110 guests all day and around 170 in the evening, and the Derek Randall suite was perfect for this amount of people. All our guests commented on how stunningly beautiful the venue was and commented on how helpful all the staff were.
The food was perfect. The chefs tailored the menu to suit us and did everything they could to make it everything we wanted it to be. Everyone commented on how nice it was.
The most amazing thing about the venue was being able to have our pictures on the outfield. Our photos have absolutely blown our minds! Wow! I honestly cannot say anything else – Having our name in lights on the scoreboard was just an added bonus.
The wedding co-ordinators’s at Trent Bridge were incredible! From start to finish nothing was too much hassle for them, from liaising with the suppliers we were using to tailoring our food menus. The day was perfect and the service we received was nothing but first class. We were so unbelievably overwhelmed at how incredibly beautiful our day was and how special everything was made for us.
We truly had the best day of our lives at Trent Bridge and cannot thank everyone involved enough for making it a day we will never forget
