Romantic Walled Garden with a rustic and relaxed feel. The perfect venue for couples looking for a quirky and bespoke day that wows!

Walled Garden Baumber is a 19th Century Walled Garden that has been renovated by Owners Sonia and David Elton. Ex theatre designer Sonia and photographer David have created a beautiful garden with pockets of gardens knitted together that create this incredible space. Surrounded by woodlands it is described as a hidden gem! Couples can choose to marry anywhere in the garden but most choose our beautiful pavilion in the centre of the garden. With your family and friends sat in comfortable deck chairs in the round you can enjoy an intimate and relaxed ceremony. We also offer ceremonies in our brand new indoor venue Montagues with spectacular high ceilings and tall Georgian windows. If you prefer to get married elsewhere and have your reception here we also cater for 150 people dining capacity and 200 in the evening. Our bespoke service offers you opportunity to be as involved as you like in the design and planning of your special day!

When you realise your budget then work with your venue to get the most out of it. For instance with a reasonably priced bar at the venue then you might choose not to have wine on tables!

●

Think outside the box... garden games, singing waiters, different food vendors for evening food, doughnut walls, DJ, singer or band... you only do this day once, make it your perfect celebration!!

The day was what every parent dreams of for their daughter's wedding day!
Our daughter had her wedding day at the gardens in Aug 22. What an absolutely fabulous day it was from beginning to end, nothing was too much trouble and the attention to detail was incredible. The day is built around the couple & personalised to their preferences, unlike some venues that are 'this is what we do'. From our original meeting, to the planning & then the actual day, it was all handled with professionalism. The hospitality offered here, is second to none! The day was what every parent dreams of for their daughter's wedding day. The WGB will always hold a special place in our hearts full of fond memories.
