We had the most amazing wedding day at The Hoste! Jade and the team were helpful, professional, personable and organised from the moment we made our initial enquiry all the way through to the end of our very special day.

From the very beginning we felt that Jade understood us as a couple, she took time to understand what was important to us and she understood exactly how we wanted our wedding day to be - we cannot thank her enough as the day was everything we had hoped for.

After our wedding, we have received rave reviews from our guests too! All complimenting the excellent food and service they experienced on the day.

Without question or hesitation, we would recommend The Hoste to anyone wishing to get married in North Norfolk. The whole day was perfect and we would do it all again in exactly the same way.

We absolutely loved The Hoste from the moment we were shown around. Our special day may have been postponed from our original date due to Covid-19 but this was handled so smoothly, we kept in communication all the way through and eliminated any additional stress.

When our day finally came around in 2021 it was absolutely perfect. Our ceremony was held at the local church, and our reception in the beautiful Garden Room. As a wedding party, we were truly looked after, nothing was too much trouble. Jade (The Events Manager) was a true professional, calm under pressure, and ensured we did not need to worry about anything across the day. Liaising with our suppliers, and checking in with us throughout the day.

The church being only a short distance away from the Hoste enabled us as a wedding party and our guests to walk across to the church. Once back at the Hoste our drinks reception was held in the courtyard in the Autumn sunshine. Followed by our reception in the Garden Room, the light, bright and airy room was the perfect backdrop. Space for all of our guests, our band, and completely flexible with our chosen theme and decor.

We received so many compliments on The Hoste as a wedding venue, the day ran so smoothly and we loved that everything was in one place for our guests. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

We held our wedding reception at The Hoste at the end of May and also stayed for two nights either side of the wedding and wanted to say a huge thank you for an absolutely brilliant stay!

First of all, the venue itself is absolutely beautiful, with a large conservatory room and a garden out the back which is a lovely suntrap and we had it all to ourselves so it was perfect for our drinks reception.

As for the wedding reception, the events manager, Jade, was absolutely brilliant every step of the way, right from our very first telephone call right through to the day itself. I cannot thank her enough! She was great at responding to all of my emails asking a million and one questions, she was very accommodating of all our requests, particularly as we wanted to have a ceilidh band for the evening! She was extremely thorough and her attention to detail made me know I was in safe hands! She really knows her stuff! This just made the whole process of planning the reception so easy and took a lot of the stress off me as the bride. The whole day ran smoothly like clockwork from our arrival for the drinks reception and canapés, dinner service for the wedding breakfast, clearing down the tables to make space for the band and dancing and lastly our ‘midnight snack’ at the end of the night, which all of our guests absolutely loved! Thank you Jade and to all your team!

Martin was also a great help coordinating all the room bookings for our guests who all commented on how lovely their rooms were and that they all felt thoroughly spoilt, so thank you very much!

We stayed in room 57 in the Vine House for the wedding night and I also stayed there the night before the wedding. The room is beautiful with a lovely big freestanding bath.

I would definitely recommend The Hoste for anyone thinking of having their wedding there. It was a magical day we will never forget and thank you to everyone involved in making it so special!

From moment one we knew this venue would be perfect and it was. The weather was great so we had the ceremony in the walled garden which looked absolutely beautiful. Our reception was in the garden room, which is where we would have been if it had rained, and with all the large doors open it was just like being in the garden and worked perfectly. The staff were all great and the food was delicious. Jade, (the events manager) was fantastic from the first moment we spoke and had everything covered so we didn’t have to worry about a thing, on the day and in the lead up. We had the best day and would recommend The Hoste to anyone.

We both just wanted to thank you and the team for making our wedding so special. We all had the most amazing time, despite the weather!

Everyone was so impressed with the smooth running of the day and the amazing food. You guys were so accommodating (for a small group we had quite a few interesting challenges!) and all the guests mentioned how seamless the service was.

We couldn't have asked for a better venue or service and would absolutely recommend you to anyone!
