STEAM offers a choice of locations within the Museum to hold wedding ceremonies and receptions among the famous exhibits, including the charismatic 1930s Station Platform and the magnificent Caerphilly Castle Hall.
Our dedicated Events Team have years of experience and are committed to ensuring your event exceeds expectations. On the day of your event, our friendly Visitor Experience team will be on hand to assist with anything you may need.
Great Western Hall, was originally the old ’20 Shop’ of Swindon Works, it simply oozes history and character! This very spacious hall accommodates up to 450 guests.
Hawksworth Hall combines character, elegance and great versatility. The hall is light and airy and can be dressed to deliver a simply stunning venue for your special day accommodating 150 guests.
Caerphilly Castle Hall is a spectacular setting alongside the magnificent GWR express locomotive for either your meal or for drinks before entering the Great Western Hall.
The Museum is full of unique spaces telling the story of engineering genius Isambard Kingdom Brunel and showcases the GWR’s first locomotive, North Star.
