We are a family run business which is 100% exclusive use. We are committed in delivering a completely bespoke service to each and every one of our couples.

We are told time and time again that we are the ‘Hidden gem’ of the Peak District, drive through our gates and access the mystery of the Hall. You will then journey down our private driveway and be greeted by the House and all that is has to offer.

The Hall is available for as long as you wish to stay, whether that be a one night luxury stay or three nights of exclusive celebrations.

With only one Events Director, by the time you tie the knot she will know everything about your big day. Let us take the stress from you!

Why not use our stunning spa sanctuary to wind down in before joining you closest family and friends for a pre arranged dinner in Stone Court. Or perhaps the men might fancy a game of billiards before retiring for the night...

The Hall is a Grade 11 listed building with some parts dating as far back as the 15th Century. With accommodation on site we aim to give you and your family a wedding experience to remember. Each of the bedrooms are slightly different in style and charm but all have your comfort in mind. Nice but not what I expected to pay for.
I was part of the bridal party at a wedding this weekend. I paid £160 for a room to which we didn’t have keys for so it was open for anyone to go in, our bathroom was across the corridor which ended up being used by other guests. When we were showed to our room, there was already someone using our bathroom and the lady that showed us to our room acted as if this was normal. When I mentioned it to the bride, she was told that was our private bathroom. This was not so as I came out of the bathroom later on and there was a queue waiting to use the toilet. This is not good when I was wanting to use the toilet in the night and there was urine around the toilet… not ours! For £160 for the night I expect to have our own private bathroom, not one being used by all guests of the wedding (not just the hotel) and a secure room!

Good evening Amy,I am so sorry that you did not have the experience that you were hoping for with us last weekend. I personally did not check you in, I think this may of been a new member of staff who may not of realised that the bathroom was not being used by friends of yours. We do have keys for the bedrooms however, as we are a family home we do not hand out room keys as we assume that guests who are staying with us are all friends and family and therefore feel comfortable to leave their rooms unlocked. We would of course have provided you with a key if we had of been asked your comfort is paramount to us.We do hope that you may return to us in the not so distant future so as we can improve on your previous experience with us.Kind regards,Victoria

Stancliffe Hall truly is a 5 Star Venue!
We both fell in love with Stancliffe Hall from the moment we drove down the drive. It is truly a five star Venue. Every detail has been thought of from the beautiful grounds to the stunning Interior. We loved it so much that we booked it on that very day not only for our wedding day but for the whole weekend.

Magical Day
I had the honour of being bridesmaid for one of my best friends. From start to finish the day was just magical. We stayed in a beautiful bedroom at the hall for the night before and the wedding night. We also had use on the onsite spa and swimming pool which was a wonderful treat. Food was fabulous and the service was brilliant. Looking forward to returning to Stancliffe for a friends birthday party later this year.

What a day!
I recently attended a wedding at Stancliffe Hall. From start to finish the whole day was fantastic. The food was amazing, above and beyond anything I have had at other weddings that I’ve attended. Fingers crossed other friends consider this venue as it really was a dream day for one of my nearest and dearest.

Amazing venue and facilities
The whole team at Stancliffe were excellent from start to finish. The food was amazing and all our guests commented on how friendly and helpful the staff were. We found Stancliffe due to our previous venue letting is down and it certainly was a blessing. Compared to other venues it was refreshing at how much flexibility there was with what we wanted.

The facilities for guests staying over were 5 star and included a pool and spa. It was great that we could turn the wedding into a full weekend of celebrations.
