My Partner and I got to planning our wedding during the Pandemic in 2020, so going to view venues was extremely difficult. No one was allowing viewings, and online viewings weren't showing us what we needed to see. I was emailing venue after venue after venue to try and get a socially distances viewing. One of the places I emailed was Pontlands Park, in Chelmford. From the get go, they were extremely helpful. They emailed over all of their packages and was very keen to set up a viewing with us as soon as restrictions allowed. I knew I loved the venue from the photos, so after conversing with Lisa over a few days I asked if there was any way we could book the venue before seeing it. It was pretty unheard of, booking a venue without viewing, but I loved it. She was extremely helpful, and even agreed to secure our date for us but would wait until we viewed the venue to take the deposit - just so we didn't lose any money if we decided we wanted a different venue.
We went to view it as soon as restrictions allowed, and I cried just driving up to it! It was beautiful. More beautiful than the photos. We walked in and was greeted by the friendliest staff and made to feel as though that day was our wedding day. They met every requirement I had for my venue, and even more. I couldn't imagine getting married in any other venue, it is the perfect place to start the rest of my life as Mrs Burns-Yetton.
