Milwards Estate Wedding Venue is a Grade II listed house which you have exclusive use, set in the beautiful countryside surrounded by the Sussex Downs and local villages of East Sussex with accommodation available locally.n .
Surrounded by 150 acres of organic grass meadows and woodland and a stunning 5 acre lake, the country surroundings provide the perfect setting for your big day. Enjoy a welcome drink and canapes overlooking the stunning and natural grounds of the property
The entrance hall has a historic charm boasting original features such as the wood beams, vaulted ceilings, stained glass window and sweeping staircase.
The Coach House is licenced to hold civil ceremonies for up to 60 seated guests. The ceremony room with it's barn features of vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, combined with the light from the large french doors creates a stunning ceremony space.
The large gardens wrap around the terrace with well established trees, shrubs, rose bed and arbour. The lawns gently sloping towards the lake. There is also a large circular koi pond with a fountain where you can enjoy welcome drinks and canapes.
The lakeside marquee is fully lined and has a solid stone floor and heating. With seating for up to 200 guests for your family and friends, it also has it's own bar ,DJ and dancefloor with starlit canopy for a fabulous reception.

Clare couldn’t be more helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for Clare and her team. The venue is stunning, in the middle of the Sussex countryside, which was very important for us. They even have boarding kennels on site. If you or your family have a dog that needs looking after during your special day, Clare can help with that! There are plenty of, top quality, recommendations and it’s great if you don’t fancy piecing your wedding together yourself, because much of what you need is included in the venue cost. The big lake and beautiful farm house, is what clinched it for us. Not to mention the reasonable cost, and knowing how good the service is, having attended a friend’s wedding there already. I’m looking forward to spending our big day at Milwards!
