Nestled in the market town of Kendal our Lake District venue is a luxurious 4* wedding venue set within 14 acres of spectacular gardens and woodlands. We can’t wait to make your wedding dreams come true! Overlooking Kendal Castle and the Lakeland Fells, Castle Green is Kendal’s only 4* Hotel and boasts an array of contemporary facilities, including ceremony and function spaces to accommodate 25 to 250 guests, in a truly breath-taking setting.
Our original house dates back to 1847 and still contains some of the traditional features for those all-important photographs, as well as our Wedding Gazebo in the gardens for a truly romantic ceremony location.
We have several carefully selected Wedding Package options to suit your requirements, which are attached for your consideration. Our main Wedding Packages are based upon a minimum of 40 guests and are priced from just £2,695 from 2021 onwards, giving you the flexibility to manage your guest numbers and budget according to your requirements.
We also have seasonal Wedding Packages available priced from just £2,195 for next year, or we have our brand new Intimate Package that's based on up to 15 guests attending, and is a perfect option for couples looking to say their 'I Do's' amidst the current government guidelines or beyond. Our team have a natural ability to make the biggest day of your life as stress free as possible with their attention to detail and calm outlook in a crisis (not that there will be one!). Nothing beats seeing Castle Green for yourself and we would love the opportunity to toast your engagement over a glass of fizz while we take you on a personalised show round.

Don't be afraid to ask questions to get the package that best fits you and your budget. We can often tweak existing packages or sometimes create new ones that are perfect for the day you want
Be realistic with guest numbers and never book for the maximum that will attend as you may be penalised if guests can't make the day as planned. Your Wedding Co-ordinator will discuss this with you
It's often a hard decision to select a menu that will suit all guests, so we always suggest having a menu tasting to see and taste the dishes to help choose a perfect menu before the special day
