My new husband Owen and I got married at Barcaldine Castle on Saturday and it was absolutely perfect. Abbie and Daniel were phenomenal hosts, not just on the wedding day but every time we contacted them with questions or plans in the lead up to the day. Nothing was too much trouble and every detail was taken care of (and many details we hadn’t thought of!). I honestly can’t find the words to say how amazing this place is - we had our whole day at the castle, with the Great Hall acting as ceremony venue, seamlessly transformed for the wedding breakfast, and then again completely changed to host a small ceilidh band in the evening with the comfortable couches round the fire for those who weren’t dancing. We even had Oban Distillery doing a whisky tasting in the canopy outside for our guests. If you are looking for an intimate wedding venue or just a few nights in a fairytale castle with stunning views and thoughtful Scottish touches at every turn then you won’t be disappointed with Barcaldine Castle!!

We got married here - and it is one of the most beautiful, perfect places I have ever stayed. Everything about it is better than you could ever imagine. The castle itself is immaculate. Absolutely stunning and beautifully restored.

We got married at Barcaldine Castle at the end of May 2018. Everything was perfect, the castle is a fantastic setting and Abbie and Daniel were fantastic hosts, making sure the whole day went smoothly. If you want a small castle wedding venue, look no further than Barcaldine. Very highly recommended!

Such a stunning beautiful place we got married here at the weekend. Abbie and Daniel, the managers & hosts are superb nothing is too much trouble and I cannot thank them enough for everything they did, we felt so welcome throughout our stay from the moment we arrived.
