I’m Keeran, a full-time documentary wedding photographer covering the whole of the UK, and I absolutely love what I do. My approach is all about capturing authentic, unposed moments as they naturally unfold throughout your wedding day. No stiff posing, no forced smiles — just real people, real emotions, and real memories, documented honestly and beautifully. The result is a timeless visual story that reflects genuine connection, laughter, and those fleeting moments you didn’t even realise were happening.

Before stepping fully into photography, I served for eight years in the Grenadier Guards in service to the late Her Majesty the Queen. After leaving the Army, I gained my professional photography qualifications through The Photography Institute, combining formal training with a strong work ethic and attention to detail. My military background has shaped the way I work today: calm under pressure, highly organised, disciplined, and always respectful of the environment I’m in. Weddings can be fast-paced and emotional, but I’m very comfortable working quietly in the background, adapting to whatever the day brings without adding stress or distraction.

Being unobtrusive is a big part of my style. I don’t interrupt moments or stage scenes — instead, I blend in, observe, and document the day as it genuinely happens. This allows couples and guests to relax, be themselves, and fully enjoy the celebration while I capture the story unfolding naturally. From quiet, emotional moments to loud laughter on the dance floor, everything is photographed with care and intention.

Alongside my professional background, I’m also a single father to two teenage daughters. Parenthood has given me a deep appreciation for meaningful moments, fleeting expressions, and the importance of preserving memories that grow more valuable with time. That perspective strongly influences the way I photograph weddings. I’m always looking for the small, honest interactions — a reassuring hand squeeze, a proud smile, a shared joke — the moments that truly define the day and often mean the most years later.

As a friendly and approachable documentary wedding photographer, I aim to make everyone feel comfortable around the camera, even the most camera-shy guests. My relaxed, easy going nature helps people forget they’re being photographed, which leads to natural, joy-filled imagery full of personality and warmth.
