Lucy & Fraser's Wedding Story
One month before Lucy and Fraser’s beautiful day, Lucy reached out to ask if I was available to photograph their wedding. Thankfully, I was. We soon met in Norfolk, where we spent time getting to know one another, talking through their plans, their guests, and any special photographic moments they dreamed of capturing. It was clear from the start how much love and excitement surrounded their day.
When the wedding morning arrived, I began with bridal preparations at the Boat House, capturing quiet, intimate moments as Lucy and her bridesmaids got ready together, alongside her maid of honour. There was a gentle buzz of anticipation in the air.
Lucy then left the Boat House by car with her bridal party, travelling to the far dock where her journey continued by boat towards the Boat House for the ceremony itself.
Ahead of Lucy’s arrival, I met Fraser with his best man and family. A few photographs were taken, filled with expectation and nervous smiles, before guests were invited to take their seats and await Lucy’s arrival.
I made my way down to the arrival dock to meet the bridal party, capturing a few photographs on the boat before they made their walk together to the Boat House where the ceremony would take place.
Lucy arrived in a moment full of magic. The young flower girl gently scattered petals along the aisle before Lucy walked down it with her grandad. As the ceremony began, Fraser was overcome with emotion, tears of pure happiness reflecting the depth of love between them.
After the ceremony, Lucy and Fraser left the Boat House together for a quiet moment of “just us” on the boat. This peaceful time allowed me to capture natural, candid images as they soaked in their first moments as husband and wife.
Once back at the Boat House, we moved on to the photographs Lucy and Fraser had requested during our meeting, alongside relaxed candid images throughout the evening — from heartfelt conversations and laughter, to their first dance, and guests celebrating alongside the newly married couple.
It was a day filled with love, emotion, and unforgettable moments from beginning to end.
