As a creative person, I combine my craft of photography and experience of retail & hospitality with a lifelong passion of the creative arts to provide a personal and bespoke service to the couple planning their wedding.

I am passionate about the importance of printed photography, and have included prints or albums in every collection I offer. I feel that it is my duty to future generations to be able to touch and hold the legacy and memories of their family past, rather than a digital version being unrecoverable on a broken hard drive, or a lost USB hidden at the back of a dusty drawer.

Despite my passion for print, my wedding workflows are all very high tech and use the current trends in technology to communicate and deliver the galleries and images to the happy couple, with which the digital files are also included in the collections.

Although becoming officially professional since 2007, I have been photographing and developing my craft since before I can remember. There were many years of my adult life where the need to provide and pay the bills superseded the belief that my passion could in fact be my career. Thankfully I didn't listen to that lie in my head for too long and have been loving the challenges that being self employed brings without any regret!

Aside from photographing weddings, I also have regular commissions for family portraiture and other commercial ventures. One of the things I do for fun photographically is accompany my husband (who works in the music industry) on various tours taking pictures of the bands that are playing. Fun, because what's not to love about going to a gig... challenging because I experience different light situations that although not usual on a wedding day, help me grow in my creativity to understand and handle a variety of situations.

Some more personal facts about me:

I don't particularly like chocolate (unless it's got something in or around it like caramel or mint... in these cases I'll endure the chocolate for the team!)

I have a husband, 2 daughters and a dog. They are a source of many hilarious anecdotes you will likely hear about when we meet. I am still trying to convince my husband that a Maine Coon cat is necessary to complete our family.

I'm musically eclectic... A playlist with some 90's BritPop, 80's rock and metal, some breakbeat and hiphop, mixed with some soul and finished off with a drop of classical will have me very happy. However, Celine Dion or Brittney don't make the cut *sorry not sorry*

I speak a few languages to varying levels, Bulgarian, French & Spanish (although somewhat out of practise) and this year started to try to learn Italian.

I could eat Ice-Cream or curry for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but not necessarily together.

I support the charity called Compassion which provides for children in deprived countries. My sponsored child is called Monezero and lives in Rwanda.

I am partial to a bottle of Prosecco (or two!!)
