    Hi all!

    We’ve just got engaged and really don’t know where to start. I’m from Northern Ireland and all my family still live there. OH is from Kent and has family there and in Manchester. We’ve been together and lived in Leicester\Nottingham for the last 8 years.

    We’re undecided on whether to get married in NI and keep my family happy or England and make it easier for his family and our friends. My family would all be invited for the whole day so is it better to ask them to travel? We have work colleagues and friends that we’d like at the reception but not necessarily the whole day - can we ask them to travel just for a reception?

    Opinions please!
