I have been trying to look this up but can’t find an answer so hoping someone might be able to answer! Is there a reason for the traditional order of the top table? By the traditional order, I mean bride and groom in centre, with brides parents either side. Groom’a mother next to the brides father, and best man next to the grooms mother. Grooms father sitting next to the brides mother and chief bridesmaid sitting next to grooms father. I can’t see a reason for this order and just curious as to if there is a reason for this order.
