Me Me ME! I'd like to lose 6lbs by the time our engagement party comes round on 1st May 2011. I want to lose 3st before our wedding. I'm 5ft 4 and a whopping 13st 3lbs (a lot for my height) but I'm rather muscular as well so find it really hard to lose inches :( but I am keeping my calories under what I need for a day, but I'm saving my exercise to start next week after having lost about 4lbs since we got engaged 2 weeks ago. So yes count me in! 6lbs loss by 30th April please! I shall weigh later and post my starting weight. :) x

Sarisbob, I did Cambridge and it has worked wonders for me. Once you get to a certain point in your weight loss you then reintroduce foods for a certain length of time before moving up the plans so that is the re education. I cant exercise at all and have very limited mobility but it worked for me as it gave me a big kick start and a huge boost as I then knew I could do it. I have a stone left to lose but will do that by eating the right things however my lovely h2b is a feeder and knows my weaknesses. However, as he has already points out he has become a complete gym bunny so more or less eats what he likes and is a very bad influence on me!!!

Feeder h2b's is a problem. Bless him though he is trying too but he isn't as strict as me

he is ok on that side of things. He tends to cook too much and offer seconds and open a pack of jaffa cakes of an eve. Yesterday he made biscuits and brought me pancakes in bed this morning. Can't complain as he is so lovely but my waistline can lol

right so first day i dont seem to have done to well. i was going out for a friends bday last nite and the kids wanted pizza for dinner so we got one, then i went out had a few drinks and on the way home h2b and his friend asked me to get a kebab for them and i couldnt help myself, i did get a chicken one though. From today, im going to try and stick to it. please tell me off as you can see i have no will power and i really need your help x

Same here, so not good, which is a shame as i had got down to 11st 12, but then went out for dinner :S, and am now back up at 12. So i will have to be extra carefull this week. :S

im glad im not the only one!! i was doing so well not having my daily chocolate but then i made toast and discovered we didnt have any marg left and the only thing i could have was nutella. ive finished it off now tho so no more temptations. set up my wii now so after i clean my car im all over it!! can i count car washing as part of my exercise??!! x

i stick to the 1200 cal & 20g fat rules and do my weights to get rid of the bingo wings lol 5 days a week i always have two days where i can have a treat or a nice meal rather then boiled rice every night. i did it before and still went from 15 stone down to under 9 stone in 10 months so dont think a couple of treats will hurt your diet to much as long as its not everyday. i couldnt go without mon-fri without the promise of a bit of choccy on the weekend and a pizza yummy x

Ah ladies don't lose heart, I've only lost a 1lb a week since we got engaged but it is something!!! The idea is to allow yourself days where you're a bit naughty it's no good being all slim for your wedding then going out and starting to eat again and ballooning xxx

Woo!! ive lost 1 1/2 lbs since thursday. not much but i havent done any exercise yet apart from cleaning my car which was hard work!! why did i get a big car, dammit!!! cutting out my daily treats has worked so far, altho im craving them like mad, will have to go shopping on a full stomach 2moro!!

I've halved my portion size and drink about 2 litres of water a day. I do zumba twice a week and have 2 personal training sessions a week - the rest of the time I'm running around after 4 kids!

time for the weigh in.
I have lost 2lbs this week. Not quite what I wanted but I know why.
pluses - have only cheated once and have kept up the excercise and apart from the cheat day have kept to the diet
minuses - cheat day involved a calzone pizza and half a tub of ben and jerry's on a trip to Brighton with my friend. Not knowing we would be getting lunch I had eaten some toast not long before we left. As we were out buying her outfit for her mums funeral I didn't think I could say no when she wanted a pizza. I put on 3lb that day.
This week I will drink more water, keep up the excercise, keep up with the diet but will not go too crazy on my hen party (sat) there is a meal involved but I will try and make wiser choices (but there will be some kind of pudding involved I am sure. It is my hen after all lol)

Ive just started a new job as a post lady so been walking nonstop carrying mail and pushing a heavy trolley for about 4 1/2 hours a day. really didnt think id lost much at all tho. also have cut out crisps, sweets and chocolate that i normally eat on a daily basis. think i will treat myself today with a twirl!! lol. not sure ill lose as much net week but will try hard!

:( cries, i put on a lb this week and am up to 12.1, but in saying that i did only just weigh myself, rather than first thing , and my TOM is due, so hopefully i have technically lost or stayed the same , and its just extra fluid.
so im now back up at 12.1, im thinking of eating a box of raisin wheats to flush out my insides, then have a day of detox where i just have smoothies/juices or soups , all easy on the digestion and then start again on my diet.

I'm trying to drink 14 cups of water a day! I've been pretty good i guess but McEwan07 I put a lb on too! I'm 13st 1 :( WAIILL. I have ordered a weight watchers set of scales that measure fat mass as well as weight though as I know muscle is heavier than fat :) remaining hopeful....

ive just joined the gym for 6 months!!! but girls I've only done it cuz I'm going to the gym with one of my besties!! If i had noone to go with I wouldnt go!!!

i think i need to get some new scales, im using my mum and dads which i have always used but im not sure they are that accurate as they measured my bmi and it said i was 33.5% body fat, late week i was 45!!! can i really lose that much body fat in a week?? i dont have a great deal to lose unless its turning into muscle ?? but then surely i would put on weight?! so confused...

I haven't lost anything this week, my period decided to start so may have lost a pound or two if it wasn't for that, but not downhearted, will lose next week! So still 13 and a half stone. well i have weighed myself at random points thru the week and i havent lost anything, well 0.4 of a lb!! im hoping that everything is turning to muscle and thats why i havent lost anything!! i am walking in the sun for 4 hours a day up and down hills so its gotta be doing something! i can feel a difference but i know i can lose a few more pounds so its frustrating. grrr. x

Well ladies, I bought new scales which show weight, fat percentage, water percentage, bone mass and bmi. I had weighed on my friends scales about 6 - 8 weeks ago and I'd been 13st 11lbs, I nearly had a heart attack, my wii fit said 13st 5! So I didn't weight for a while used my wii fit and I was 13st 3 and went down to 13st. So there's the background, on Monday I pick up my scales and realise 1. That my friends scales were correct and 2. that I had actually lost 6lbs anyway so it wasn't so bad. Soooo on Monday this week I was 13st 5lbs. Today I am 13st 2 1/4 lbs. Yay! I think I can forgive myself for gaining 1lb last week. So this is as is for me: Weight 13st 2 1/4lbs Fat % 36% (about 10% over average I think) Water 46.7% Bone Mass 6.6% BMI 31.8
