Newnham College is a vibrant and dynamic women’s college at the heart of the University of Cambridge. Founded in 1871. The College has stunning red brick architecture in the "Queen Anne" style, surrounding both manicured lawns and informal gardens. College Hall was built in 1886 & decorated in elegant pastel shades, complimented by pale wooden furniture. It is topped by an eye-catching barrel-vaulted ceiling with elaborate white plasterwork. Full-height oriel windows offer views across the grounds. Legal civil ceremonies are permitted in both indoor and outdoor locations. Complete your special day with a magical, memorable evening in the Iris bar. An adjoining courtyard offers outdoor space where guests can enjoy clement evenings.
