Preston is a historic city in the county of Lancashire, well known for its historical nature and impressive heritage architecture. Today, that architecture is present in some of the very best wedding venues in the area, and we picked eight of our favourites to help you with the wedding planning…
1. Ferrari’s Country House Hotel
This family run country house in the Ribble Valley is licensed for civil ceremonies which can include the outdoor Dovecote. There are nearly five acres of beautiful gardens here and 22 unique bedrooms. There are even in-house chefs at this venue. Check it out.
2. Beeston Manor
Owned and managed by the Bickerstaffe family and nestled within 140 acres of parkland, Beeston Manor is a Grade II listed barn with oak beams and sandstone walls. It’s ideal for a rustic wedding venue! See it here.
3. Samlesbury Hall
This venue transports you to a time of lords and ladies! It’s almost 700 years old and is now a registered charity (which means all the profits they make from your wedding will go back into its restoration). There are 28 ‘Shepherd’s Huts’ for guests to stay over. Read all about it here.
4. Wyresdale Park Barn Weddings
Want not one, not two but three barns exclusively yours for three days for your wedding? How about onsite glamping too?
