Wild Coast Weddings is a small team that focuses on a friendly relaxed experience, capturing your day in a creative and unobtrusive style.
OUR APPROACH To photograph a wedding is to document the most important day of many people’s lives. To be a part of their special day is a huge privilege.
Photographing a wedding is about capturing the essence of the day – the mood, the atmosphere, the light, the emotions and all the little things that might even go unnoticed. It’s so much more than ‘wedding photography’… it’s a combination of portraiture, fashion, landscape, and documentary photography.Every wedding we attend is different and the photos produced are equally diverse. If the day is full of energy, then the images are full of energy. If the day is full of tears and emotion, the images reflect that.
Our style is informal. We like to just blend into the background… to capture natural, candid images. We were once described as “remarkably unobtrusive yet incredibly professional” and that is our intention. To take control when needed – then step back to let you enjoy your day.

The stop-motion wedding video is a new string to my bow. It is a unique way to relive your wedding day. Using every single image (un-edited) from your day. I blend them together with a song that means a lot to you. Your ‘first dance’ song is normally a good call.

AddMeet the Owner
Hello, I’m Drew – founder and head photographer at Wild Coast Weddings. Photography has been a part of my life since I was a teenager when I was lucky enough to attend a school that included photography as a curriculum option. From my very first lesson, I was hooked! Twenty years later, having completed numerous qualifications, travelled the world, and gained a wealth of experience in a number of fields – I chose to come back to the UK and settle in Ilfracombe, North Devon. Aside from photography, my main passion is surfing. Getting in the sea all year round is what makes me smile. If I’m not in the water, you’ll find me on the beach walking the dogs with my beautiful wife.
