We are a family run venue business used not only for weddings but also by media for films, TV, adverts, and magazines. For weddings we are know for the spectacular gardens and the personal touch.
We have all been to those weddings that feel like the venue just churns out wedding after wedding. The Old Rectory Estate is not that venue. As you tell my our feedback and testimonies we try and offer a personal touch, we love to inspire and make your day special and unique. The family as a whole have worked in the fashion industry, garden design and horticulture so we have a wide range of ideas to share if needed. Our advice is to use the suppliers we work most closely with as they know each other and the venue. You are welcome to come for a tour around the venue to discuss a potential wedding or event.

Having owned The Old Rectory Estate since the 80’s its been a passion for the whole family. We not only host weddings but also lease out the house and garden to media companies, Interior and Garden Magazines, BBC and Channel 4 plus many more. As a family we work closely with the bride, groom and family as well as supplies to make your day special. We are known for the personal touch, being approachable and offering support where needed. you are welcome to come for a visit anytime and we will try and accommodate all your needs.

Let us do the heavy lifting! We can organise the marquee and know the best supplies who all work together to make the day not only seamless but also stress free.
Its all about the detail! If it means roping in family and friends to make wedding fancies or getting a supplier to make something bespoke this can all help to make a wedding unique and special.
Don’t loose focus that your day is meant to be fun and joyful… it’s easy to get to focused on the admin side of a wedding.
