Set in the picturesque village of Hessenford, South East Cornwall, only 2 miles from the beach. The Cpley is a traditional country pub that is very warm and welcoming with a fantastic atmosphere. We cater for all ages and there is something for everyone.
We pride ourselves on great food, excellent customer service from the amazing team, not to mention our extensive wine list and traditional real ales, and of course we are doggy friendly throughout.
We have 2 roaring fires during the winter time and riverside seating for the summertime - whether you are with a small group or large we guarantee you will have an enjoyable time.
The Copley is a 17th Century coaching Inn steeped in history, at the beginning of the 17th Century the village saw the opening of the public house originally called the "Mug & Glass" which included stables and a pig sty!
It changed its name to the Copley Arms in honour of a georgian baronet called Sir Joseph Copley, who became a life tenant and owner in the parish.
Today The Copley Arms provides all the facilities of a modern-day hostelry with accommodation - but no pig sty!!
