We think every one of our wonderful wedding team are amazing, dedicated, and guess what... we are all good friends too. Even the bosses get stuck in on every wedding!
We aren't intrusive, but we are there when needed. We manage your day in the background, including event managing on the day, so that you only have to enjoy it while we make your plans a reality. Come rain or shine (and we have certainly had both this year!), through tears and joy, it will feel like the comfort of visiting old friends.

Oaktree Farm is a family owned wedding venue nestled on a smallholding in the midlands countryside.

Its central location not far from the A1, is ideal for those who have family and friends travelling the country to come together. Oaktree farm is located 10 miles north of the historic market town of Newark-on-Trent. Newark has many amenities including cafes, pubs, restaurants, shops, a train station, bus routes, hotels and taxi companies. We are also within a close radius of Tuxford, Retford, Lincoln, Nottingham and Grantham.

The original farm dates back to the 1700’s and over the years has taken many forms. Originally called Marnham Road Farm, its name of Oaktree Farm was only given to the farm back in 1987 due to the beautiful oak trees growing on the land. Over many years, Oaktree farm has been home to many types of animals, such as shire horses, saddle back pigs, cows, sheep and more. The current owners, Dan and Natalie, keep a small selection of different animals on their farm, including their alpacas.

The wedding venue is located on a more secluded part of the farm so the beautiful scenery is uninterrupted for your day. The stunning stretch structure is hidden away in fields with a private driveway and carparking area, it is yours exclusively for your wedding. Originally designed and thoughtfully created in South Africa, our stretch tent is a great alternative to the traditional wedding marquee.

We will create the perfect bespoke experience for your wedding or event We have a beautiful blessing area on site at Oaktree Farm, where you can walk down the aisle, in the outdoors, surrounded by nature and your nearest and dearest guests. There is a flowing path off the main festoon lit walkway that will sweep you down the aisle to your awaiting partner, while your guests are seated at either side facing the subtle yet stylish pergola. Originally designed and thoughtfully created in South Africa, our stretch tent is a great alternative to the traditional wedding marquee. Located on a secluded part of the farm, the venue is surrounded by beautiful scenery. It is yours exclusively for 48 hours to enable you to fully enjoy the preparation that goes into your big day. The Stretch Tent has seating for up to 160 guests in the day and up to 250 at night. There are two sections to the venue, comprising of; the main area used for dining and entertainment and our rustic bar area with an intimate chillout space.
