The hotel is full of character and charm and was renovated from an 18th Century farm house. With its old ships beams, oak paneling and stone fireplaces alongside quality modern furnishings and fittings, the Newtown House Hotel is the perfect setting for any corporate or social occasion and weddings. The relaxed charming and historical setting of the Newtown House Hotel makes for an ideal venue for a marriage ceremony, wedding breakfast for up to 100 seated guests and up to 150 guests for the evening reception. The Hotel is licensed to carry out civil ceremonies, allowing you to hold your entire wedding day in one location if you choose. Our Manor Suite, overlooking the hotel gardens, provides an elegant setting and is served via its own dedicated bar and kitchen. To celebrate the start of your special day with those closest to you, we have our superb Wedding Breakfast. In the beautiful setting of the hotel function rooms, you can enjoy a delicious three course meal prepared by our experienced Chef team – all the while laughing and smiling and creating more wonderful memories to look back on. All of our menus can be individually tailored to your tastes.
