Information For Lamport Hall

We would be delighted to welcome you to our venue for your special day and would work to create a completely bespoke experience to create the day you’ve always dreamed of.

The venue itself has two licensed rooms, The High Room which makes a dramatic impact for up to 45 guests or the Oak Room which allows the bride to descend from the staircase for up to 70 guests. Both rooms have the option of signing the register in the Library and include a room for the bride to use.

We also offer hire for receptions only or in addition to a ceremony. For parties of up to 50 guests we can provide the Victorian Dining Room for a seated wedding breakfast ending no later than 7pm.

For larger receptions with later finish times, we can offer the hire of an area in the parkland. The hire of a marquee or yurt, generator and toilets would need to be arranged by yourselves. We also offer drinks receptions in the Hall which allows your guests to enjoy the splendid rooms whilst you roam the gardens with your photographer for up to two hours.

If you are interested in using the Hall just for your photos, we can offer the use of four rooms within the Hall and access to the gardens for two hours.

In terms of catering, we work with an external company to create the menu you wish. This can include a three course sit down meal, a hot or cold buffet, a hog roast or canapes.
