Just a few lines to say a big thank you to yourself, Katie, Emma and all the other staff who did so much and worked so hard to make our Wedding Reception go so well on Saturday. It was all wonderful and everyone had a great time, thanks to all your meticulous planning and personal care. The room and breakfast were also wonderful and and thank you for the complementary bottle of Prosecco, which we still have to enjoy!
We shall be sure to recommend Holiday Inn as a venue.

We couldn’t have asked for anything else in the world. The day ran so smooth, Hayley you have been absolutely amazing, reassuring, caring and sending positive vibes at all times.
Sue, for inputting your creativity. For organising everything on the day and being there at all points. For making everything run smooth and offering to delay due to my sickness.
Unfortunately I was incredibly ill on the day however, through starvation and soft drink (including ginger infused tea which one incredibly caring waitress offered me - made my evening!) I managed Our guests had an absolutely amazing day and we are overwhelmed with everything. We wanted to send this before our honeymoon!

We have nothing but praise for the process of planning and having our wedding at the Southend-on-Sea Holiday Inn. From the very first meeting with Hayley to the big day itself which was meticulously planned and organised.
Hayley’s enthusiasm, interest in our plans, professionalism and friendliness in the first meeting was very evident and made it easy for us to select the Holiday Inn as our wedding venue. Hayley explained about the packages Holiday Inn had and that if we wanted we could take bits from each package and plan our own bespoke package.
We went for the Rooftop Restaurant package, which although it was the top priced package, was definitely, in our opinion, worth paying that little bit extra for. We had the whole of the restaurant and bar area for our ceremony and wedding breakfast and had fantastic views over the airport and surrounding countryside, which we and our guests loved, especially when seeing the aircraft take-off and land. You also get a wider choice of menu from which to choose for your wedding breakfast. In all we felt that the package was very good value.
Hayley was absolutely wonderful as our wedding co-ordinator and did her best to accommodate any requests we made which meant the whole process of organising the big day went very smoothly.
On the wedding day itself Sue was superb at keeping everything on track and made sure everything flowed seamlessly and without any glitches. Nothing was a problem and Sue made sure that we and our guests were very well looked after.
The food was excellent, it looked top notch and tasted even better. Both the wedding breakfast and evening buffet were very well received and on the day itself and since we have had compliment after compliment about the food.
Tony the DJ was fabulous! He played as many of our playlist as he could and the dancefloor was put to great use all night. The lighting for the disco was great and the LED light star curtain added a touch of glamour to the proceedings and looks great in the wedding DVD and photo’s.
All of the staff, from reception, to bar staff, waiters and waitresses were so friendly, nothing was too much trouble and again we received many positive comments from our guests about how friendly everyone at the hotel was.
Lastly we just wanted to say that your hotel is an fantastic venue for weddings, one of our guests even described it as “an inspired choice of venue” and we are truly thankful for helping to make our wedding day very special and one that has given us memories that we will always treasure.

Me and Barry had a brilliant wedding service and got to your hotel and our reception was more than we could of wished for.
All staff from reception, kitchen staff, waitresses and waiters and Sue did an absolutely wonderful job. Our function room was stunning! I'm not great with words but I just wanted to thank you all for your efforts and a lovely wedding reception. We couldn't complain about one thing.
