The Fir Hill was purchased in 2012 by Charlie Hoblyn, where his vision was to have an off-grid Glamping business.

The success of the Glamping holidays, Charlie decided to branch into the wedding business. Charlie believed the picturesque Fir Hill would deliver couples their dream wedding, but still maintaining Charlie’s vision on being off-grid.

Nestled in the beautiful woodlands surrounding the Porth Reservoir, with stunning views and 62 acres of historic Estate to explore, this is a total escape from the pressures of 21st century living. The beautiful setting makes this historical estate perfect place to have a unique, memorable wedding.

With the choicee of multiple settings to have the wedding (woodland, orad, courtyard, terrace and Wheel Aaon), the Fir Hill will not disappoint. The Fir Hill offers accommodation for over 50 guests in the comfortable and luxurious Mongolian tents (yurts). The ideal situation of the estate is near Watergate Bay a beach perfect for walks, and surfing, hotels, cosy Cornish pubs and Newquay airport is less than 10-minutes away.
