It was clear from beginning to end that the whole team are passionate about helping to make memorable and personal weddings and receptions. The options were always laid out clearly to us, with helpful advice where we needed it. They were always willing to work with our suggestions, and there was never any pressure to add extras or go beyond budget.
It would be hard to find fault with anything, and we and all our guests had a terrific day. I was impressed by the space, facilities and the warmth of the decor. Wilma was impressed with the attentiveness of the staff. All our guests with children commented on how well the children were catered for, which was something we and the wedding team had worked hard for.
We would both highly recommend the Clayton for the excellent wedding co-ordination, terrific catering, service, space and facilities, and its central location and accessibility. We love being close to the place we celebrated our marriage, as it can become a place we return to.
Our wedding coordinator was amazing, anything we wanted was made possible and nothing was out of reach even down to the tiniest details that made our day so special. The process of planning the wedding was made stress-free and enjoyable because we knew that anything we needed could be done, even when we made last minute changes, nothing was a problem.
Everything in the hotel was perfect but the food in particular did stand out for us, all our guests commented on how beautiful the food was and it was cooked to perfection, every single guests food came out hot, even with 145 people sitting down to eat. The staff were very helpful and made sure all our guests had everything they needed.
We would 100% recommend Clayton hotel and already have recommended it to a friend that has just got engaged as we couldn’t fault our experience at all. Not one thing didn’t go how we planned and that was down all the events staff that were involved with the planning and organising of our special day. They listen to everything you want and they make it happen.
