Information For Battersea Park

Whether you require an intimate wedding, or a unique event surrounded by exceptional green spaces, Battersea Park provides everything you could ever require to host an unforgettable event! The Bandstand
The Victorian Bandstand is located in the heart of Battersea Park in a stunning 360-degree setting surrounded by an arena of trees. This picturesque location is fit for an unforgettable Wedding Ceremony and fantastic photographs too! We have 100 wooden fold out chairs that you are welcome to use (and know a great company where you can hire more from should your numbers exceed this), and the table that the registrars require too; these are both included in the venue hire. This acts as your ceremony space, with a secondary venue to go to afterwards for your reception. The Bandstand can be hired for just a ceremony, but whether you choose to have only your marriage here or the marriage and a reception afterwards, you will always require the Pump House Gallery or Bowling Green as a backup, so in the case of bad weather you still have somewhere to legally say ‘I do’! You get two venues for the one price listed on the Pricing sheet.

The Pump House Gallery
The gallery is licensed for weddings, with a blank canvas throughout the four floors, allowing you to make the space your own! You are more than welcome to hire just the gallery space for your ceremony and/or reception, it’s entirely dependent on your preferences! For larger weddings, a marquee is always needed on the terrace, giving you lots of outdoor space as well as indoor! The floors in the gallery get used for a variety of things such as a bar, cloakroom, photobooth, children’s area or dancefloor. It is the only Grade II* listed building in the Park and makes for a very memorable event!

The Bowling Green & Pavilion
This space, originally intended for the sport of Bowls is now used as a flexible event space, during the months April-October. The Bowling Green Pavilion and Lawn is also licensed and is situated just a stone’s throw from The Victorian Bandstand. Again, you are more than welcome to hire just the Bowling Green space for your ceremony and/or reception. This is our outdoor venue and suited to bigger parties with a more relaxed vibe. A large structure is put up on the green, and another popular option for this space is to get in food trucks or have a BBQ! With stunning views of Battersea Power Station, it’s a very iconic & picturesque space!

We operate on a dry hire basis, which would be exclusive to you and your party. All catering, marquees, florists and so on are not included in our venue hire. We have a fantastic list of recommended suppliers who work here in the park often, but you are also welcome to use your own suppliers provided they have the relevant documents we require. We do not charge a corkage fee and music is licensed within the park.
