At Barnston Lodge we have a limited number of weddings each year in which we 'tailor make' receptions to your wishes. We are proud to offer a completely bespoke service that will fulfil all your wishes and to the budget you have planned for. The Georgian house, has been home to our family for over 90 years, provides the perfect backdrop and with the lawns and lake creates an idyllic setting for your reception.
At Barnston Lodge we do as much or as little of the planning! We can organise your marquee, entertainment, catering, photography, or simply be here to help as you book these things yourself with your own preferences. Being able to provide your own catering and wine means no hotel prices, no corkage and lower costs.
Barnston Lodge will be exclusively yours for the day. Whilst we are set in rolling countryside, access for your guests could not be better with the M11, A120, A130. and M25 easily accessible. Overnight accommodation is local with over 100 rooms available within a 5 mile radius.

I'm Jane, and I run our family business/wedding venue. I've been doing weddings for over 10 years at Barnston and love to get creative with my couples to make sure that your day truly reflects who you are. I've done big and small weddings here - that's the beauty of Barnston. Sit down meals or a quirky food truck, you can choose exactly what you want and I'll work with your suppliers to make sure everything runs smoothly on the day. Of course, I have a list of recommended suppliers and am happy to help you with your choices based on my experience with what's worked. The day is also exclusively yours - no other wedding happens on the same day.
