Get married in rustic Cornish luxury at Boconnion within 150 acres of rolling countryside. You will find your home-from-home in the Georgian Manor House and Barton Farmhouse, where you can say “I do” in the wild flower meadow, relax by the pool, stargaze in the hot tub and light the open fires and cosy up for a weekend wedding filled with family, friends and celebrations.
The's Estate's facilities will be exclusively yours for the entirety of your stay. We invite you to create your dream day on our blank canvas wedding venue, along with the support of our in-house professional wedding planner Caroline Griffiths.
The estate can sleep 44 of your family and friends across 4 beautiful properties, and our restored Reception Barn seats 90 on one floor and has the capacity for an evening's celebration of up to 250 over two floors. We also have ample space for marquee weddings within the grounds for up to 250 people. Whether you’re looking for a small elopement, to have an intimate ceremony, or to get the party started and invite lots of your loved ones, we’ll have a package that suits your requirements.
There are plenty of celebrant ceremony locations throughout the naturally inspired grounds; the Georgian Manor House, the cosy Barton Farmhouse, the rustic barn, outside in the meadow, orchard or gardens, tipi & marquee. Alternatively, you may choose to have a classic church wedding at 18th century local church St. Helena.
With acres of lawn and multiple traditional outbuildings, Boconnion is a blank canvas for unique weddings and events of all sizes. It is set in a stunning countryside location with magnificent views and built around the warmest and most intimate of Cornish hospitality. The perfect, secluded hideaway to hold your celebrations.

The venue itself is unbelievably beautiful, with the main house and the barn suitable for 27 guests which was ideal for our main wedding party to stay for the whole weekend. We all had so much fun using the hot tub, swimming pool, tennis courts and fire pit, as it kept us entertained and relaxed throughout the whole visit. We were able to enjoy a pizza van on the Friday night ahead of the wedding on Saturday, and a brunch outside on the Sunday following the big day. We loved that this venue offered this option to stay for a long weekend, with so many people.
We had our ceremony outside on the lawn, with the house as a backdrop on one side, and trees and countryside on the other, which was perfect. Followed by welcome drinks outside with games on the lawn, and the wedding breakfast and party in the barn. The location was ideal for visitors coming further afield, as it is not as deep into Cornwall as where we live. You have uninterrupted fields of the countryside surrounding you for peace and quiet, and the actual house and barn are beautiful outside and in, with everything you would need. Our master suite was also so so beautiful!

With over 10 years of wedding industry experience she’ll bring plenty of inspiration to the table, whilst allowing couples to let their dreams run completely wild. As Caroline knows the estate like the back of her hand, you’ll be able to create your dream Cornish wedding down to the very last flower in your bouquet.
