We are documentary style wedding photographers and videographers, focussed on capturing natural, unposed moments and celebrating the fun, crazy, hilarious and unforgettable scenes of a wedding day.

At York Place we believe that clichés were made to be broken.

To us weddings are not just about tradition and romance, they're also about friendship and family, belly laughs and crazy dance moves. They're about big moments, tiny moments and the random, unpredictable, spontaneous and perfectly imperfect in-between moments. They're about living and loving every single second of your day, then reliving those feelings with every page of your album.

We don't want our couples to remember when they pretended to do something, we want you to remember the real thing, every time. No false smiles or uncomfortable poses, just the genuine joy of spending a day of pure happiness and celebration with the people you care about most in the world.

Our style is not influenced by any pre-conceived idea of what wedding photography looks like, in fact our artistic ideas are more aligned with street photography. But ultimately our photography is not about following the rules of any genre, it's simply about celebrating people; about documenting life, relationships, joy and connection. And nowhere are those qualities more abundant and beautiful to behold than on a wedding day.
