Where do we even start with George at Photographic Lounge? Honestly, hand on heart, he is one of the best people we’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. From the moment he arrived, he brought such calm, friendly energy — it felt like having another friend there with us rather than just a photographer.

He made us feel so special throughout the entire day, always checking in, cracking jokes, and somehow managing to capture every single moment without ever making it feel staged or forced. The photos are everything we dreamed of and more — full of laughter, emotion, and all those natural, in-between moments that mean the most.

George even made sure my dress and veil were picture-perfect all day (honestly did a better job than the bridesmaids 😂), and it’s those little touches that made all the difference.

We’re beyond happy we chose him — 1000% the best decision we made. His talent, kindness, and passion for what he does shine through in every photo. We’ll treasure these memories for the rest of our lives. If you’re thinking about booking him, just do it — you won’t regret it for a second!

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better photographer than George from The Photographic Lounge. From the moment the day started at Ye Olde Plough House, he was more than just a photographer — he was a calming presence and a huge help behind the scenes.

George went above and beyond in the morning, helping the bride get ready, making sure people had drinks, and generally making everything feel relaxed and perfect. His attention to detail and thoughtfulness really set the tone for the day.

When it came to the photography, he was incredible — capturing beautiful, natural moments as guests arrived and mingled, all without making anyone feel under pressure or overly posed. He had great ideas for shots and clearly knows the venue inside out, which meant we ended up with some absolutely stunning photos in the best spots around the grounds.

George also made the group shots a breeze. He directed everyone clearly and confidently, keeping things smooth, efficient, and enjoyable — and the results speak for themselves.

We booked The Photographic Lounge after seeing him at another family wedding and loving their photos. He was really helpful at our initial meeting, discussing the packages and options, so we could decide what we wanted.
On the day George kept us totally at ease and relaxed, which was great as neither of us are that comfortable in front of the camera! He made it fun and he had the perfect balance of getting the good shots but also letting us return to our guests during each part of the day and enjoy ourselves. We absolutely love our photos from our special day, we cannot wait to order prints to have as a memory.

George made us both feel so at ease the whole time he was with us on the day as well as during the lead up to our big day. Nothing ever felt forced and every photo was so naturally beautiful! Communication was fantastic the whole way through and offers very well priced packages. Would highly recommend!

Well, what we can say! From the first moment we walked into Photographic Lounge we knew we would go with them. George was nothing less than fantastic before, on the day, & after the wedding. George is a great communicator and is very professional, with the right amount of banter! You will not be disappointed with your photos, the quality of the photos are amazing and within our package we choose, it included several prints, and a canvas which again are both beautiful quality. Without a shadow of doubt, we would highly recommend to everyone. If we ever need photos in the future we wouldn't think twice about coming back to you guys. Thank you!

George photographed our wedding at Ye Olde Plough House on December 14th 2020.
As a notoriously ‘camera shy’ person, I was not really looking forward to getting the photos back but I needn’t have worried, they are lovely. In particular the night time shots are stunning and well worth trotting across the grass in the dark, in my heels and in the rain!
Communication was excellent, We had to change the date a couple of times and George kept in touch, he actually saved the day by warning us of a probable lockdown on the 16th, allowing us to move everything forward a few days, without which we’d still be waiting, so thanks again George!
