Independent Professional Wedding Photographer at an affordable price based in Leicestershire/Lincolnshire

Thank you for taking the time to look at my portfolio. I'm
Gillian and you would be dealing with just myself, meeting you prior to
the wedding is key so you are able to put 'a face to a name' and to also
go through final thoughts of your photography wishes for your special
day. I have been in the wedding photography business for over 20
years. I am based on the border of Leicestershire/Lincolnshire but
willing to travel to surrounding counties if required at an extra charge. I
pride myself in traditional photography. I love wedding photography
and treat each special day as the once-in-a-lifetime occasion it
deserves to be. I encourage my couples to meet at the venue about a
month before their special day to have a walk through and to confirm
any special requests they may have regarding their photography
requirements - it is your day and its important that you have the
images you want to treasure of your day. Helping every couple feel
relaxed during their wedding celebrations is key to achieving natural
results.

Gillian took some beautiful photos, formal, informal and funny! She took time before the wedding to understand what we wanted and also threw in some ideas of her own. She's passionate about photography and the results proved that. We had approx 900 photos on a stick within 24hrs. They are not touched up, just very natural which is what we wanted and these days you can always touch them up yourself if you want.

Gillian worked with professionalism throughout the whole day at my fathers wedding, making you feel comfortable and at ease. As the day progressed Gillian continued to take images whilst the guests were enjoying their meal catching some informal shots which were wonderful. Couldn't recommend Gillian highly enough as we were so happy with the results, she also presented the images within a week of the wedding. Fantastic service!!

Swan photography was our photographer for our wedding August this year (2022) I had made the decision early on that I didn’t want a professional photographer because I am so camera shy and absolutely hate the pressure of posing and being in front of the camera. We met Gillian a few weeks before our wedding date at our chosen venue and she has such a kind, calm, friendly nature she really put my mind at ease and I’m now so pleased we had a photographer. We have some absolutely amazing photos to remind us of our special day. I would highly recommend Swan photography to anybody, nothing was too much trouble and the end result is absolutely fantastic.

Gillian was a joy to have with is on the day. She visited us at the location a few weeks before to see what lighting and angles were available and to understand what photos we wanted and when. Gillian was just fantastic. She took the time to listen to what we wanted and produced some wonderful photographs for us. Gillian made us feel totally relaxed throughout the day, I am not a fan of having my photo taken however Gillian was do subtle and captured beautiful pictures when I was not even aware which really helped and put me at ease .
