When we first met Sam it quickly became clear that we had found a perfect match, both in terms of style and personality. We chose the full wedding package, including an engagement shoot. It was great to work with Sam prior to our wedding and to practice posing. Before the shoot I sometimes felt awkward having my photo taken, unsure how to stand and where to place my hands. Sam created a relaxed and fun atmosphere. This connection and ease shows through in the final products - beautiful, unrushed photos, including some fun shots to capture our personalities.
On our wedding day, we hit the ground running, having had ample experience during the engagement shoot. Sam got some fabulous photos of the bridal prep, as did Alec for the Groom prep and the guests arriving. After the ceremony and family portraits we took a breather, made some time for ourselves, and had the chance to spend an hour with Sam and Alec around the grounds of the house. This was invaluable, allowing us to enjoy some time in each other’s company and to capture some truly stunning images.
Sam has been friendly, communicative, supportive and completely flexible through the whole process, especially when our wedding was postponed due to COVID. She is a master of her craft and a true professional. She knew when to blend into the background and when to assert herself to get the best images.
