I wanted to be the photographer I wanted for my wedding, someone flexible, who helps with things I'd not even thought of, listens, suggests and then disappears without demands, capturing everything effortlessly.
I made myself more affordable and more flexible on times so people with a small budget can have their memories too.
I am available to suggest ideas and vendors so you have someone with experienceto help you, after all, I will have been to more weddings than most people!
If there are things I've not thought of, do ask, I'm open to ideas.
I like all kinds of weddings because what matters is love.

After COVID, I lowered my prices so I am not doing a special offer for only some people but let everyone pay per hour from £275 to two hours, and then £100 per hour after that. For a whole wedding- 8 hours- it's a saving of over £100. You can pay monthly or pay a deposit and the remainder before the wedding.

Alix approached our wedding with a professional and detailed plan, we discussed situations, settings and group shots. We had a pre-shoot which allowed us to get familiar and at ease with the camera and Alix.
On the day Alix’s presence was comfortable and non-invasive, however she managed to capture so many intimate moments. The photo album she produced was stunning and is still one of our most treasured items. It wasn’t until we saw our photos after the honeymoon that we saw that Alix had been down the day before and scoped out our venues and had taken scenic shots with no guests.
Alix has done many photo shoots for us since our wedding. She has an ability to capture in a photograph real and natural emotions, even when our little one was less than a year old. All 4 shoots had a friendly informal feel where we just chat and Alix snaps away, producing lovely informal, non-posed photographs.
We couldn’t recommend Lumiere Photography more, not just for wedding photography, family photoshoots or portraits but for having an individual like Alix in your life.
The wedding day was a blur for me (the bride) so to look back over the photos afterwards helped me to remember parts but also see those parts I missed.

Meet the Key Person
As your photographer, I can be with you from the preparations to the party. I will help any way I can before and during the wedding, from timings to recommending vendors or tidying the bedroom and telling you if your bra shows. I shoot weddings of all traditions in UK and abroad, from two hours to two days. I charge £275 for the first two hours, be it your pre-wedding shoot or on the day of the wedding, and then £100 per hour so you only pay for what you need. You get the photos super fast- within a week of the wedding- in a private, downloadable gallery so you can print and share as you want. You can also download an app for your gallery. If you want an album, it's easy to select and share your favourites so I can design the album to suit your budget. My style is relaxed, natural, as well as doing the group shots and couple shots. Don't worry you don't have to pose, I give you prompts for you to interpret and make your own so the photos reflect your personalities and relationship.
