What to expect from me as your photographer :)
Booking your wedding photographer is a big step, after all this is the person who will be recording if not the most special day of your life certainly one of the most magical. Your day will pass you in a blur so having those photographs to look back on is so important.
It is also important to remember that this is your wedding day not a fashion shoot and although I am there to organise and direct the group photographs, I like to blend quietly into the background to capture the most natural candid images.
I will photograph all through the day and although I may make suggestions and be on hand to offer advice when asked, I aim to be totally unobtrusive. The result will be a collection of beautiful images for you treasure for years to come.
Before the wedding day it is important for us to communicate sharing ideas, likes and dislikes, getting to know you helps to achieve unique photographs as individual as each couple. Meeting at your venue is very helpful as we can talk through where various photographs can be taken, also if you book with me, I strongly recommend I attend your wedding rehearsal when appropriate.
Each photograph you receive is individually edited be it colour or black and white and am happy to retouch photographs when needed, the style of edit depends on your preferred style, I also offer handprints, photo books, invitations and thank you cards.

Choose 3 photographers who are within your budget and whose work you like and ask for a Zoom call, make sure you feel happy and comfortable with the person who will be with you on your magical day.
Try and meet with your photographer at the venue before your wedding to walk through and understand where your photographs will be taken.
