We decided fairly late in the process to have a videographer at our wedding and chose John based on his work and the fact that he is a thoroughly nice guy

From start to finish he was brilliantly creative about with his suggestions for our video and photos, and captured the spirit and style of our wedding perfectly. He put us all at ease, guiding us through what to expect and how to avoid the camera nerves. He was absolutely brilliant with the little ones, and worked seamlessly with our photographer, we could not have asked for a better team.

The end result was a beautiful package of film and photos that made us all cry (and laugh) and was described on instagram as ‘like a movie’- what more could you want?! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend John for your special day.

John was simply the best decision we made for our wedding. From our first meeting his experience made us feel at ease and the clear direction he gave us from the engagement shoot to the wedding day really made us comfortable that John was going to capture the important moments of our day. "Where do I begin! From start to finish, John has made us feel so comfortable. We had photos for our wedding day and wow just wow! From the first Zoom meeting we knew he was the one who HAD to be our photographer. John showed genuine interest and excitement in our big day and did everything to help us get the shots we wanted...John went to the greatest of lengths to make our day perfect. He even planned the whole afternoon out from what memorials we would shoot in front of and some of the most amazing backdrops.

"John photographed our wedding and from our first meetings, engagement photoshoot, wedding day to the collection of our prints he was an absolute dream. John's enthusiasm and humour was contagious and a joy to have as our photographer (so enthusiastic in fact that when I arrived at the venue at 9:30 I was met by John immediately who had gotten there and completed the drone photography before any of us had even arrived!)

On our first meeting, months before our wedding, John asked about our plans for the day in more depth than I had ever considered and because we had had these discussions we were able to discuss the types of photos that we wanted more of - for myself this included pictures with my dad - and those we weren't fixated on having (in our case many posed pictures). I cannot stress enough that the communication with John was always excellent, even for the smallest of concerns - we always felt like a priority!
On our actual day we did not have the best organisation thanks to our venue who seemed to not even want to greet us and talk us through how the ceremony would go etc. I, as any bride would, found this quite upsetting, I mention this because John went above and beyond in his role to make sure the day went smoothly, to the extent that he coordinated things on my behalf with the venue which allowed me to calm down and actually enjoy getting ready. Though it sounds cliche John felt more like a friend than he did a photographer - which of course meant we relaxed more and our photos were more natural. His constant smile was undoubtably infectious and we loved all of his cheeky jokes throughout the day.

As for the photos themselves, John's shots from our day captured the candid, natural style that we had envisaged - our personal favourite being the confetti shots as they captured everyones expressions beautifully. Despite the day being long we were able to have a huge sequence of sublime photos from the very start of the day to the evening. We got our first look the very next day and thanks to the season of our wedding the pictures within a week.

We have just received our absolutely luxuriously packaged prints and framed photo included in the package we chose and we are so overwhelmingly pleased with them all, the presentation of them really made it feel so much more personal and special.

We wholeheartedly would not hesitate to recommend John as a photographer - he consistently went above and beyond of what we expected. Thank you so much John!"
