Our style of photography is authentic, yet intentional. We capture all those moments that unfold naturally, when allowed, at a wedding, while brining a touch of magic as well!
Being in the moment, enjoying the day, the experience and everything you have spent so long planning and creating, should be your main goal of your wedding. Shouldn’t it?. So why do so many couples regret feeling overly posed and awkward?

From day one, our main goal is getting to know you, who you are as a couple and what makes you unique. What are the little things that are important to you; both individually and as a couple. What are you personalities and how can we learn into this and build our a story around who you are??Our journey starts with an initial consultation, where we as keen to find out about you, as you tell you about Fitzpatrick Photography. ?From here we will create a tailored package, designed specifically to capture your dreams in stunning cinematic inspired imagery. ?Your engagement shoot will be an opportunity for you to work with Matthew, learn to relax in front of the camera, it’s easier than you think, and remove any fears you may have about being photographed.?You photos will then be shared via your own, private, gallery; So open up a bottle of something nice, cuddle up on the couch and revel in how amazing & relaxed you look. Every images is yours. So feel free you download, shared and spam every social account you have, or simply turn them into and amazing guest book for your wedding! ?As we get closer to your day, you will receive your pre wedding questionnaire, where you can tell us all the details of your day and about any family formal group you want, even if these are just to keep the family happy. ?From here on in, we will be in regular contact and on hand to answer ANY questions you may have, hopefully, wedding related!?On your day you will already know us, you will know how we work and what to expect. Any worries about being photographed (you may be feeling now) will have long evaporated, and you will be able to simply be in the moment and experience your day.?We will capture the day as it unfolds, not from a distance but amongst it, so that when you look back at your memories you will feel taken back to those most special and personal moments, time and time again ?You time with Matthew for your photos, will reflect the the style and pace of your engagement shoot, but will also be a moment of you both to reflect and enjoy a moment or two together as a married couple. ?After 15 - 20 minutes it’s then back to the party, to enjoy the day with your friends and loved ones late into that night

Top Wedding Tips
Before you walk down the isle, stop and and count to 15. It has quite possibly been a long journey to this moment, so dont rush the last few steps. Take a moment to stop, relax and be in the moment!
Add flex into your schedule. No matter how detailed your planning, you wedding day will run to its own timeline once it starts. Build this in early to avoid stress on the day.
If you are having canapés then ask the venue to create a plate specifically for you. It is easy amongst the many congratulations, or while escaping for your photos to miss these tasty treats, don't!

We were able to get a feel for his natural approach and were given plenty of opportunities to discuss the atmosphere we were trying to capture for our wedding, which Mat interpreted perfectly.
Better yet, he was reassuring and experienced on the big day itself and able to mingle with all our guests fantastically! He was also very flexible - considering we had a change in venue and requested extra hours.
We were overwhelmed by the quantity and quality of our wedding photographs, and also at how quickly he was able to get them to us after.
If you have any doubts or worries, I would recommend arranging a video call session or better yet consider booking an engagement/pre-wedding shoot with him as we did.

on the day of the wedding he was happy and cheerful and set about taking snaps even those people didn't see him taking. matt and his assistant were brilliant they just blended in with the guests and our photos are beautiful.
I definatley recommend to anyone who's planning a wedding and anyone looking to reduce the stress.

On the day, Matt was excellent, truly professional and even helped calm down my wife a little in the morning! Everyone wanted photos taken and Matt and Julia helped orchestrate this and ensured everyone was happy. Less than 2 weeks later we had all our wedding photos, almost 1000 of them! Every single photo is amazing and it took my wife and I 2 hours to go through them all, each shot captured the emotion so well. Everyone has received a link to the photos and all have commented on the quality of the photos, really 'capturing the moment'

Hello, I’m Matthew Fitzpatrick and since 2009 have been telling love stories as a professional wedding photographer. 6 short years ago, however, I was in your shoes. Planning my own wedding. Counting down the days until February 14th 2016 - the date I would marry my wife Julia at a boutique hotel in the stunning Lakes. Like you, in the months leading up to our wedding, we researched, planned and hoped everything would come together. More than anything, we didn’t want to spend our day worrying... wondering whether or not those fleeting, once in a lifetime moments would be documented — documented well, in a way that felt like “us." We could not have been luckier with our day. Everyone we chose came together to create the perfect day. Today I can’t recall off the top of my head much of what people said, or the exact moment details happened, but I’ll never forget how I felt on February 14th, 2016. Six years on and our photos are as important as ever! Whether we are sitting looking at our album, or simply enjoying those we chose to get framed, we are transported back to our most special shared moments.Fitzpatrick Photography is not just about delivering stunning images that your can treasure for a lifetime together.
